Catherine is an award-winning author of four books and the founder and CEO of Werbie, a health-tech company creating self-management solutions for women with diabetes. The company’s first product, GlucoseMama, is a complete system to improve the self-management of gestational diabetes. Catherine’s two high-risk pregnancies with complications, and her love of cooking, inspired her to write the first edition of Eating for Pregnancy in 2003.
She is passionate about helping moms and their families eat well and cook at home. She is a graduate of Connecticut College and La Varenne Culinary School in France. She was born in India and has lived around the globe as the daughter and spouse of Foreign Service Officers.
